A tapestry captures a moment in time.  Using complex and rich designs and images, the artist tells a story of people, events, beliefs and spiritual understanding.  A tapestry is a metaphor for who we are as people.  The threads of the past and present are woven together.  The threads of decisions are how the present is connected to the future. The decisions we make will be our legacy to our children’s grandchildren.  We have the opportunity to leave a precious inheritance - the birthright of compassion, forgiveness and healing, and inspiration.  Our decisions can reflect our highest aspirations and values. Rather than settling for what is easily achieved, our legacy can be a treasure of great value, a monumental tapestry for the future.
